Spokane County Jail Ministries
Spokane County Jail Ministries is a ministry that brings Christ to the inmates of the Spokane County Jail and Geiger Correctional Facility.
Our Mission
Our desire and purpose is to follow our Lord's commandment, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all people". We start by providing Spiritual help to those who are incarcerated.
Areas of Ministry
The various areas of ministry that Spokane County Jail Ministries includes are:
- Chaplain’s services Inmates have access to Christian counseling, Bibles, and Christian books and studies.

Sunday Church Services Church services are led by volunteers and include worship music, prayer, and sermons.
- Group Bible Studies Discipleship between inmates and volunteers is important in encouraging spiritual growth.
- Independent Bible Lessons These are studies currently being graded and handled by Steve Munter.
- Project Hope At Christmas, gifts and Bibles are given to the children of inmates.
- Continuing Discipleship SCJM works closely with area churches to help inmates get connected with local churches upon their release.
